if you paint grass does the grass grow?

If you mean the grass texture, no, you need the "plant" version to paint. It's among bushes.

If you simply paint the texture, grass won't grow like it did in Fs19 (if i remember correctly), it just stay empty and painted.
Here there are even three lenght to choose from.

IF you paint the texture none, if you paint the grass it regrow if cut.
At least it did before, i stil haven't tried.

I hope so otherwise it will drive me mad. There is an area cutted tree, so its nice and clean and also function to cut grass when need it. no option to remove the bushes, so i used the only thing a excavator/mulcher. But it aslo destroy grass. If now the grass doesn't grow all cost, houres of work will all be for nothing if it does not grow :/
then i will quit the game....

Yeah it should, Just don't expect the same type of yield compared to a planted field of grass

The painted on grass that grows is "field grass". It's the same type of grass you can mow that you find all over the map, like along your driveway, etc..

During mowing I hit a piece of my "planted" and the grass patch tottaly dissapear.... I hope it only happen when its "early" planted

no it doesn't. I just want regrowable meadow grass back. (not fieldgrass, not pasture grass)

I have nice piece of land with grass. But with removing Bushes i destroyed the soil. so in my "meadow field" i have patches of "painted & planted grass"

It does not seem to grow (maybe i need to wait longer?) and touching those patches with a mower remove the grass completely.

Okay i found a Fix!

Goto plants under the terrain tool and there is meadow grass you can put down and I believe it grows. There's 3 different types you can choose from
