Bad performance on high end pc
Hi does anyone have same experiance with FS25 about performance on high end pc...I have RTX4090 + R7 7800X3D + 64GB DDR5 6000MHz + 2x 2Tb NVME and game run very bad i try also lower graphic settings but not help to much i expect my pc run game like this on very high/ultra but as i see thats not possible..all other games i run on 4k ultra and all works perfect.

So any tips or tricks to fix that btw i know game need make shaders than all be good but after 2 or 3 hours playing nothing better..i try reinstall...i have latest updates of windows and all drivers.

Try fsr 3.0 with frame gen I have same issue as you we tested on many Rtx cards and only fsr 3.0 and frame gen uses full 100 percent usage of gpu... Msaa and taa don't.. Dlss doesn't.. Dlaa doesn't..

I have same problem and tried what you have suggested but still have serious lagging problems, been fine for the last 3 days but now its literally unplayable.

Must be an error on save game check the log in documents folder... Try new save game as a test see if lag or low fps continue..

I keep forgetting to say I am using beta version 😬

New save seems fine so yea maybe the save file is corrupted :( all that work for nothing

Always test on a new save.... If any issues come up check your log this is why I activate the console and have warnings and errors set to true then anything happens it pops up in the Console and I know what's caused it... There is a bad lua error on wrapped bales using John deere baler.. Also some issues with trailers so maybe the game had a recurring error.. Any lua error has a bad effect on the game... And if something is cooking like a mesh... The games fps will just decrease and stay that way... The game doesn't flush out errors untill you restart

It amazes me that they have no live reload option only for Tractors and implements I think... Its kinda silly a 2024 game doesn't have this and the user being able to adjust graphics without restarting...i feel bad for map makers cos any change they have to restart game... The editor is pretty decent tho....

Did you try FSR3 and Frame Generation? I have a RTX 4070 Super and have 120-140fps

running this game on a old potato rtx 4090, 17-13700 in 4K ultra, NO Downscaler (dlss, fsr, xess, no FG etc). Funnily enough no performance issues.

CPU bottleneck because of very old game engine. Game 100% uses only one core. You can run monitoring and you will see that one core is 100% loaded and all other cores are chilling.

Any fix for that?Maybe in task manager set priority on high or chnage affinity

Are these consistent performance issues or are they intermittent? Are you running more than one tilling/seeding implement at once? Because the game engine having issues with ground calculations is a problem that's been ogoing since FS15. The more simultaneous instances of tilling/seeding the worse the overall performance.

Most games only use one core, because parallelization isn't possible in many cases. And where it's possible, often the overhead is bigger than the performance gain.

Oh and would you call Unreal Engine old too? I mean the engine is from 1998.
