sheep barn not accepting grass bales but will accept grass from loading wagon is this a bug or am i missing something

They accept bales. Been doing for 15 hours now lol.

I palce 5 grass bales on the feeding zone and it fills up and get used just fine.

Same here. I can dump in loose grass but it won't accept grass bales.

I have the same issue. I dropped a bale of grass on the feeding zone, nothing happens. also, the pasture meter does not fill up either. Sounds like a bug (I am using the yellow sheep barn with the orange fencing). I even advanced time an hour, nothing. As I only had lambs in there, I also added a few mature sheep, nothing changed.

Why is grass bales even a thing? Does not make a lot of sense :)

I looked in the XML for the Sheep and Cows. Cows show a trigger marker for bales. It is missing in the sheep XML. Not sure if its fixable without the new editor to place a trigger

They all accept bales, BUT the bale won't disappear as soon as you put it on the feed zone like in FS22. I have to drop it on the feed zone and leave it, if you get out and point at the bale you see the amount of litres going down, when it's 0 then the bale disappears.

It's very odd, but does work.

Pro Tip:

1. Use the `Massey Ferguson MF 1840` baler (produces tiny 500l bales you can lift by hand) I do this with the `KUHN GMD 3123 F` grass cutter on the front of my tractor.
2. Use the `Arcusin Multipack D14` bale collector to gather all the tiny bales 14 at a time.
3. Unload the collected bales next to your animals.
4. When you need to feed them, press R next to the large bale to "Cut open" the bale and release 14 baby bales you can move by hand, and throw these in the feeding trough as needed!
