Did they change Grass growth?
I planted a grass field for my sheep/goats and got the first harvest but it did not regrow. Do we have to replant each time now?

I just culivated the field was going to replant and try again but the field is not showing up as cultivated on the status map. Have not replanted yet, will do that tomorrow.

If you started in the game in August, takes about two months to grow and if you harvest October or November, graas does not grow in Winter. seems to start growing again after Winter.

been doing some silage with grass and it regrows after a few days for me.

Seems to work the same as it always has. Cut, bale, and roll in April, July, and October. Roll in April before planting something new to get two free fertilizer states.

I did use the grassland roller. I played a lot of FS22 had a sheep empire so I know how it works. It did not regrow,

U can use a fert spreader/sprayer too to get the other state after cut

I don't recall having to do this in previous versions. Once planted, you can cut, do nothing, and cut it again when it regrows. So if I do nothing like before, it won't regrow anymore?

Rolling in FS22 would give a "free"fertilize stage for next cut, that is, if I remember correctly.

Thank You forgot grass didnt grow in winter. I planted in March harvested in May and it regrew in June.

What through me was the field was not showing as growing after harvest.

All working fine. :)

Depending on the time of year, i noticed mine didnt really grow during winter months, at least not as fast, ( Almost 4 months until ready ) But the other months, just fine :)

I will add these information since to me they are important.

In F22 you could cutt grass each 3 months instead of cutting it at 2 months when ready and you had a +50% bonus. The bonus is gone now.So player can cutt weed every 2 months instead. You still have to lime and fertilize in order to reach 100%.Silage ball are best for small and med field while loading the weed into a wagon+ additif and storing it in a bunker for large field is more profitable if you sell silage.

Should be noted that field grass has a "yieldScale='0.5'" line in its greenMiddle state that its harvestReady lacks. So if you're hoping to get as much grass/hay/silage from your planted field as you can, wait that extra month.

Meadow grass doesn't have this penalty. Mow it as soon as you can.

I'm looking at the crop files on my computer. Investigate them.
