Cow Barn with Robot auto feeder not accepting straw for bedding

Have bought the $750k cow barn with auto feeder and it just wont accept straw in the centre food/straw drop point, tried dropping a bail into the pens and no bueno.
Noticeably unhappy cows not producing milk like they should because no straw bedding

Strawbedding dont make them happy. It just changes the output from liquid manure to manure if straw bedded. What do you feed the cows? If only gras, they get only to 20% and produce no milk

TMR with the robot barn, all food supplied but just cant supply straw bedding at all. TBF I cant say for sure if bedding affects output in fs25 but it appeared to in fs22

Isn't the trigger inside the building for bedding?

have you used a straw blower or just straw bales ?

Outside drop points only for ingredients for the robot.
Inside is for bedding and if you want to add food manually. You can drive inside and drop straw there.
Food is made by the robot every full hour, there mustn't be anything blocking the drop points so the fence can go down. No blocking the doors for going inside.
It works, food production and bedding.
BUT: it seems the game has a lot of bugs, not everyone is suffering from, or not all the time.
So maybe you got a bug with the barn unfortunately. If reloading doesn't work, guess you can only sell the barn and buy it again.

@Darkhorse just bails, couldnt find anything written anywhere about using a strawblower inside the barn, my understanding is the blower is for pastures but suppose I can give it a go. I'll try to get it inside the barn or just blow it out onto the meadow and see what happens.

you need to use a straw blower inside of the barn by the food trigger. But it still isn't creating manure for me. Just slurry.

even the blower is dodgy, tried it on a horse barn and basically had to back it out so it would start blowing a loose pile onto the floor and pull forward to blow some onto the stable floor where it belongs before it stopped blowing and had to rinse repeat

Did you build a manure silo? The extension one, NOT under the silo tab.
