I am confused about the Macdon M1240 Windrower.
Is the Macdon M1240 Windrower just a type of harvester or is it also a tractor, and can it be used like a tractor?

It cuts the crops or grass ready to be collected by a forage wagon.

It's main use is to receive 25% yield bonus, the rest is just a bonus...

you mow down crop with Macdon and use normal combine to pick it up, that way you get 25% on grain and straw.. I mean you still need a normal combine for yield bonus, kinda meh for time wise

Okay that helped. So Macdon is just an additional step in harvesting.
