Edit save money

Hi peeps,

Playing through a game right now and encountered some bug/glitch where my contract was broken causing me to lose quite a bit of money on it. Tried "cancelling" the loss by editing the save file but I only got the save game selection screen to display the difference, in game there was no change to the cash amount.

Only saw some clues in the Farms and careersavegame files but that didn't enitrely work :(

Any ideas?

Thanks for the replies! Actually figured the save files thingy out:

careersavegame.xml contains value shown when you select the career you want to load form the main menu:
<money>82000</money>

farms.xml allows you to edit the actual wallet ingame:
i.e.: <farm farmId="1" name="My farm" color="1" loan="0.000000" money="82000">

[SHUFF]

Activate console by enabling the dev controls in game.xml then press the tilder key on keyboard when in game type money select the command type in what you want e.g 2500000
And use e.g-2500000 to take money away if add to much.. Hope that helps however there is a way to edit the xml but right now away for pc so forgot which bit

maybe try this mod: "Government Subsidy".
with "F" you can change income BEFORE placing from 4k to 4mio.
