Unable to Play with Xbox Controller

I am able to skip the loading screens with my controller but I can't do anything past that. Anyone else having this issue? If so, do you know what the fix is?

You have another controller of some sort connected? I am using an XBox controller myself, with no issues. So off the top of my head that comes to mind. Also might check the settings. I believe there is something about controllers in there. As far as enabling and disabling them.

you have to enable controller support in the options menu at the start screen if you didnt enable it when you first loaded into the game.

I had a conflict which I traced to the throttle on my Logitech flight stick, which is plugged in as well as the game pad. Never been an issue on other titles. Basically the camera was constantly swinging to the ground or sky or the map autoscrolling in its menu, until I twiddled around with the throttle and parked it in an optimum position. It doesn't look like there's any options to disable a particular controller in game but even after blanking all the joystick inputs it was still doing it!

Hi mate, first enable controller via in-game settings. After that you can try to disable the steam-input for this game. right click on the game -> properties -> controller -> disable steam input. That should disable steam and enable the built-in input. This fixed that issue for me.

i have the good old original MS X-Box 360 wired USB controller and it works flawless; just plug & play.

Nothing helped i have an original xbox one controler. IDK what to do anymore...

Does any of you that play with controller have an issue where the steering is overly sensitive? I play the game on xbox and I really don't like the steering, even with it down to 50% when driving on the road it feels like it goes back and forth and not really fun, usually driving games are great on xbox but farming simulator isn't doing something right with it.

i agree FS is much worse in controller sensivity settings than other games but normally i do not drive such fast and than its ok. My TX32 Harvester drives 25km/h and its good in steering, The 50km/h tractor i depends which model you have,imo. Trucks with more speed sucks that´s true.

But overall i really enjoy the x-box controller in this game.
