i had same thing i found this worked

1. Open folder "my documents"
2. Open folder "my games"
3. Open folder "FarmingSimulator2025"
4. Open file "log.txt"
5. Search for "Devices"
6. Search the lines below for "FANATEC Podium Wheel Base DD1" and check your "VER: xxxx" (on me 0771)
7. Open folder "inputDevices"
8. Open file "FanatecPodiumDD1.xml"
9. Replace value of "versionId" (on me "0eb7") with the found "VER" from log.
10. Restart game
11. Reset keybindings
12. reset dead zone to 0

so far its working

update it reset after playing game and you go to play again so need to do it all over again plus i had to change this as well <productName vendorId="0771"> from 0eb7 to 0771 plus have to reset keybindings as well so have copy inputBinding.xml and re paste before start game
I think I found a solution for the problem. I have I DD1 and all the suggestions (copy XMLs, edit XMLs, deactivate controller etc.) did not work. Today I tried again - after months of hoping for a patch. So I had the idea to combine 2 different deadzones. Since the DD1 is shown as 2 devices in options (2x the Podium DD1, switch with X on Keyboard between them) one of both shows the strange behaviour when I lower the deadzone below 14 - increasingly worse the lower it gets. You can test this with the green bar in the option screen. The other DD1 in options works as intended with the 1% deadzone - just smooth increasing/ decreasing the green bar left/right.

So I tried leaving the deadzone in the "malfunctioning" DD1 on 14% and in the "working" one on 1% - and this solved the problem for me! In game the wheels of the vehicle now stopped jumping and work as intended. Hope this helps anyone, this was driving me crazy!
I had this problem with my DD1 and it was my Thrustmaster gear shifter causing it. I had to unplug it and the wheel works fine.
