Trying to make sense of the growth calender.
I planted Canola in August, and they were ready to harvest June of the following year. Seasonal Growth is turned on, and days of the month are set to 1. If growth follows a set number of days, then I should tune my days of the month to 4 instead of 1, to make canola be fully grown in 2 in game months? I'm curious if I should be using the Growth Calendar, or not.

If u set to 4 day months then u are making it take 4x longer, a month is a month either it's 1 day for a month or twenty days for a month it will still take 10-11 months for that crop to grow

Okay, I understand that. So, it is correct that if I plant Canola in August, it'll really take until June for it to be ready? I'm not familiar with the crop, and for it not to wither during the freezing months seem a little odd.

Yes, it will still take the same amount of months. Let´s describe it short, if you manage to finish the jobs you want in one day per month (pretty normal if you only do crops) then one day is enough. If you do animals and other stuff that requires more time compared to flat fieldwork then you increase the amount of days per month.

The days per month option is nothing more then increasing/decreasing a timebuffer.

Okay right on, thank you Nighthawk and Switch. I grasp the concept now.

I'm having trouble with this myself but a little different.
Seasons off, days a month set to 1. Everytime i go to sleep for 23.5 hours it only skips to the next day. My canola isn't growing. Now it says on the side that days a month won't change until next season. How would that work if seasons are turned off. I know I'm missing something here. Lol. Please help and thank you.
