As it is right now, there's no reason to use oilseed as a cover crop vs grass. So I guess I get the idea behind the change. I just hope that the subsidy will be slight, and not over abundant. If using oilseed gives you something, but grass is still far more profitable, I think that would be fine. I guess we'll see.
We're all so happy for you....Would you like a cookie?
Yes no plowing after harvest, except for root crops. There you will still need to plow after it.
And in rows between grape and olives, you would still plow/Subsoil.
Use it GPS and special field data to get the right amount when fertilizing or spraying on the fields ?
Is it useable only with special tractors and machines ?
I miss the "Crop Rotation Mod " !
And Seedbed reconsolidation too.
I live in the Netherlands but i have never seen a farmer using this, and i have even worked on a farm. The best way to fertilize your land is to drive it out on top of the soil and let the insects pull it into the ground. Injecting fertilizer such as we do in the Netherlands is bad, most of it gets into ground water, inisted of the soil.
