Cubic meters vs litres.

Is there a reason vehicle storage is shown in cubic meters in the shop, but then in liters in every other context? It would be nice to stick with one or the other - preferably liters.

A cubic meter is 1,000 l, so usually m3 is used for larger volumes.
And I'd rather have 48 m3 than 48,000 l :)

.... How have I made it this far and didn't know about that 1:1 conversion..?
