Tässi Farm and Peat Pack notes

Just some notes after a couple of days...

Always interesting to experience new crops and maps in FS. Tässi Farm map has some areas, not in FS fields, that can be harvested by the equipment in the peat pack. Since fields are not used you have to harvest manually or use CoursePlay to make custom fields. Or use EnhancedVehicle, or some other GPS add-on, for lane guidance. The map pays extremely well for your effort, you can make a million dollars in about an hour of harvesting (four passes.) Using GROK and some SWAG IRL peat is $ 20–$40 USD per 1,000 L, while the map pays >$10K, as high as 20K for dry peat - Easy Economy. 3K-10K on Hard. I'm sure the price will be more in line on with other similar FS crops on future maps. The Peat Pack equipment worked OK. Needs some XML tweaks: bad width on tedder/dryer gizmo, ridger is in the wrong equipment category for CoursePlay. On Easy harvest peat any time, Hard Jun-Jul only with game starting in Aug. Good contracts.

The map is really just a platform to demo peat. Nicely detailed in general. Plenty of trees are included around the peat fields and forest plots. Plenty of start equipment for regular farming on all levels, but the Peat Pack is a separate download. (map and pack are after the first update - 3/30/2025.) I sold most of the equipment, start fields and bought the peat equipment, and the peat field. No productions or typical sell points. A buy-anything storehouse and a wood sell point. simple.

A fun couple of days learning a new crop and equipment pack. Good challenge for CourePlay, EnhancedVehicle, and AutoDrive.
