and do you play on a modded map ?
I just downloaded that one, I am just curious what the dev intention for that loop was. Some places seem to suggest they thought you would palletize them and store them that way. Which is awful if that was what they meant for us to do.
I/We are playing on Zielonka, though we have a lot of mods installed. However, we dont have anything that should be modifying the price of crops, so I am inclined to believe that the lack of money gain when dropping them off at the farmer's market is not a mod problem. I am going to try taking the time to palletize a load and try selling that to see if that works.
Apparently, both of those locations were "full" so they were not actually paying for the product. You could still unload there, but it was basically over-filling. When I took them to the preserved food plant, it sold just fine.
I only found out because I was testing out something different and sent the AI on its way on a delivery at the farmer's market with the intention of hopping in at the last minute, but lost track of my timing and the AI got there then refused to deliver it with the error that it was full. The other thought is that perhaps the vegetables cannot be delivered straight but MUST be palletized for the farmer's market, but I still have not tested that because I was able to deliver it direct to the preserved food factory.
Apart from mods vegetables like red beet get simply stored on the ground and then picked up again with whatever has a shovel mounted or a conveyor belt. They can be boxed (depending on the harvester) but that´s more a gimmick and not necessary. Also, the train station can store 500.000 litres of whatever you put in combined.
