Red Beets Not Selling
Hello Everyone,

I bought a field that was ready to harvest red beets (otherwise I would not have bothered), started harvesting the beets, and then realized I have a couple of problems:

1) Where do you store red beets? The silos are not accepting them, I am obviously missing something obvious but please help.

2) When I tried to direct sell the red beets it would not "sell." What I mean is that I tried the warehouse at the train station and the farmer's market, and it would allow me to dump/unload the beets there, and both were in the price listing as valid sales points, but when I emptied the trailer it never generated any money. This is on a dedicated multiplayer server for me and my friends.

Any ideas?

my idea and tip is to buy a small Farm production (tin cans) where you deliver red beets , and other things and let the production sell it or you can set it to keep and wait for the best month (March) and sell them your own with a trailer or truck.
Ingame at Mod´s there is a Silo which can handle all sorts (except milk) too; i have this too !

I just downloaded that one, I am just curious what the dev intention for that loop was. Some places seem to suggest they thought you would palletize them and store them that way. Which is awful if that was what they meant for us to do.

I/We are playing on Zielonka, though we have a lot of mods installed. However, we dont have anything that should be modifying the price of crops, so I am inclined to believe that the lack of money gain when dropping them off at the farmer's market is not a mod problem. I am going to try taking the time to palletize a load and try selling that to see if that works.
Not sure if the train cars would accept them but have you tried using conveyors/teleloaders to put the loos beets directly into the trailer cars?
So, I found a partial answer to this because of AI workers.

Apparently, both of those locations were "full" so they were not actually paying for the product. You could still unload there, but it was basically over-filling. When I took them to the preserved food plant, it sold just fine.

I only found out because I was testing out something different and sent the AI on its way on a delivery at the farmer's market with the intention of hopping in at the last minute, but lost track of my timing and the AI got there then refused to deliver it with the error that it was full. The other thought is that perhaps the vegetables cannot be delivered straight but MUST be palletized for the farmer's market, but I still have not tested that because I was able to deliver it direct to the preserved food factory.
Everything that is capable to produce things has a fill limit, even if you don´t own it yet (yes, also all buyable factories). The only thing you can unlimited sell on is the train that leaves the map but can be instantly recalled to be filled up again. The normal limit is 240.000 litres (10 months of production if you own them) on all manufacturing sellpoints.

Apart from mods vegetables like red beet get simply stored on the ground and then picked up again with whatever has a shovel mounted or a conveyor belt. They can be boxed (depending on the harvester) but that´s more a gimmick and not necessary. Also, the train station can store 500.000 litres of whatever you put in combined.
