Square bale vs round bale?

Round bale is cheaper to buy but you have to stop everytime to unload.

Also, square net is way cheaper than roundbale net.

But then again the auto transportation cart for roundbales is a lot cheaper to start.

my favourite is this JD round baler with wrapper. When the bale is out for wrapping you can move on ;-)

Round bales can hold a bit more to. However they also don't stack as good as square bales but that isn't a problem now with bale storage buildings. I find that round bales slip off of pallet forks much easier than square bales, which could be a pain if you turn to fast or a plus for getting them off the fork when you want to. Round bales have a baler that also wraps them for silage. In the end it mainly comes down to what you prefer.

Square straw and hay bales are much faster to make and denser to store. They're the option for a player with a powerful tractor, weight to move, and money to spend.
