Still need to answer the question though. Why should be continue to pay full price for marginal improvements?
theres onley 1 THING @ FLOTSAM to remind: the start, this is a tiny bit of "survival":
1) sail more or less constantly to gain food + water.
2) my style: simply research ASAP the fishing chair, while building the desalter parallel to it. "survival" prolbem solved (NO "REAL") STRESS. takes 20-30 min. RELAX + ENJOY. afterwards ^^
well, "feeling" the same. but have literally NO OTHER GAME of interest @ moment. this why i pre-ordered it. it is what it always was. not "really" needed, maybe i will skip 1 title in the future. the improments from 15 to 17 was physics. 19 came with reasonable building menu. 22 was a very good general "overhaul" with lots of missing features.
25?
hmm...graphics nice, specially @ night, fog - yeah, map detail much higher. thats it.
dont regret it, but not "super excited" ^^ best regards
Did I say free?
No, you just asked for a discount you do not deserve.
on top of that, this game is not just a slight upgrade, it actually is the first since 17 that actually feels like a huge step forward in any direction.
Game development isn’t a charity, and expecting a loyalty discount because you’ve bought a few games is a bit much. The fact that you’ve continued to purchase each installment suggests you see enough value in them to keep coming back. Developers spend significant resources improving these games, even if the changes seem incremental to you.
If you’re truly that resentful about buying a new game, waiting for mods, and then dealing with DLC, maybe it’s time to stop buying them. No one’s forcing you to support the series, and the updates aren’t free to make. At the end of the day, it’s your choice to invest in something you enjoy—or don’t.
Yep, GIANTS should give a discount to these idiots (like myself) who buy their buggy mess every few years
