Best way to clear?

I don't normally bother with forestry but I'm playing the New Horizon map and need to clear a lot of timber.

Money is not an issue so curious best rig/combo to get rid of trees. I really don't care if they make money, I just want the most efficient clearing methods you all use, as in chips or logs and best way to achieve each.

As I have said before, the lumberjack mod with super strength mode engages lets the chainsaw delete trees & vegetation in seconds. Its a must have imo.

So none of the trees are processed, just deleted?

I have thousands of hours in the game and for me The Hannibal T-50 is the only way to go as it removes the larger "processable" /conifer trees. If you are on Riverbend Springs like I am at the moment. Then that won't work and you need to hand process the Deciduous trees. The best way I have found with the mods or in game equipment available at this time is a chainsaw ...fell the tree ...cut into manageable portions ... and feed it into the Jenz 922 DQ Cobra Hybrid ....using super-strength mod (as grapples are too small for deciduous trees). The money you get from chips is very good and they have improved the chippers so much that I can feed whole trees into them with the super-strength mod. I haven't tried the autoload mod on trees to sell logs yet as it is still beta. However loading logs onto log trailers with super strength is a breeze. If you don't like to use super strength then my recommendation is ...Bigger is better for forestry when choosing a loader or excavator to manipulate logs.

If you wanted the processed, throw a bunch of lumber mills down, use super strength and drop them on the mill or fell your trees in its direction - could also export the .ddi and edit

Get the "Lizard Trex 600" mod. Its been in the game since several versions back. Excellent tool for clearing unwanted trees.
(I do not know if you get too keep the chips in this one. But its better than noting until the "devour" get ported if it do.)

Lumberjack mod and Lizard Trex 600 will do the job. It devours the trees instantly and you get to keep the wood chips.

Does anyone know if the planted trees are still disappearing in their growth stage like on the other maps? Kinda hoping being a mod map it doesnt have this bug.
