Production chains - how does it split produciton?
My basic question is if you activate all productions in a specific building, what happens to the output totals. Are they split and how?

So I did quick test with a greenhouse and it split the output between the products.
If a product outputs 100L per cycle, if you activate two products they will produce 50L each in the same amount of time. (This is what i expect and how it should be to be realistic)

However, with the sawmill I was doing long planks and when i added the other productions it still output the full expected amount. In this case it produced 6600L per month regardless if other things were being produced. So this building doesn't seem to split it.

The carpentry building should output 4700L of furniture using long planks, the others are slower. When I run all three it slowed it down to 3600L in a month so this one does seem to split the output.

Does anyone one know any more about this, any reference available or does the game show this somewhere? I don't feel like doing the research myself if i don't have to and several "everything you need to know about production chains" guides don't ask this question.

Someone created a pretty good spreadsheet for production chains. I don't know if tells you what you're wanting or not.

Take the google docs link near the top of the page.
That's a very nice spreadsheet, there's some other info that I was looking for here so I appreciate it either way but I don't see the info I'm looking for.

It makes sense that every output is divided by how many products are being made but I noticed my sawmill was overproducing long planks. Plan was to produce enough long planks for furniture production and it would work out almost perfect with one other product but it ended up over producing the long planks.

I'll do some more research myself and post if anyone is interested.
I am using a modded map (flatland 4x 2.9) which has modded productions but I'm pretty sure i'm using base game buildings.
I did not read the spreadsheed above (no links here for me).
Productions are spread by the amount of things you activate to produce means you produce less of each thing the more you activate in each production.
Sawmills are the only exclusion, whatever you activate and how much they will always produce the maximum possible amount for each product.
