grass 100% yield bonus
How do I get 100% yield bonus from grass? I roll with the grass roller in between harvests. Do I need to spread lime too? It doesn't say that the field needs lime. All I get is 87% bonus.

You would probably have to mulch, roll, lime, and fertilize after each harvest. It wouldn't be worth it. Much more efficient to simply use a grassland roller after mowing and lime when it says it's needed.
Sounds like too much work for 13% more.
Considering how lime works, I strongly suspect it's only 5% more anyway.

I mulch the area before plowing a new field for grass. Then I plow, lime, fertilize, plant and then fertilize after it sprouts. That gets me up to 100% in some areas. A side not, I tried to mulch after I mowed the grass and I couldn't mulch.
Does this mean it is only possible to get 100% on the first harvest?

No, in my experience if you get the 100% bonus on the first harvest all you have to do is roll it after harvesting and it will be 100% again. Unless they changed it in the new patch but I did not see any notes about it.

Is it then possible that since the field I sowed grass on did not require plowing, and I did not plow, I am now getting 87% bonus?

Yeah. Rolling after harvest, get rid of weeds if any, and you should get 100% (or at least 95-97%)
So it dawned on me that, when I created the grass field, I actually joined two fields into one. One field did not need to be plowed, but the other did. So I went to check the two areas of the field. In the section that was not plowed, I get an 87% bonus and, in the section that was plowed, I get a 97% bonus. Hence, one should always plow before sowing grass. Not sure what the remaining 3% is.

mulching or lime or one of the other low % actions.
i only roll and get always 97%. Dont know how to get 100% but i dont care; 3% is´nt worth the fuel and machine costs
