We really need to be able to search by mod author as well.

If you search Giants in a Giants game you get zero search results. Really, I think all Giants mods should be ported to base game, but if not, we need to be able to search for it, or any others as well.

It must be a bug cause if you just search for giant instead of giants it works. And searching for giants already worked in fs22 so it feels more like a problem that appeard after changing the UI for fs25.

No mod should or can be ported to the basegame. The basegame is sold for money, so everything in the basegame needs a license from the original manufacturer if you want to include it, more vehicles, more license costs, more expensive farming simulator.

I know it would be easier to have all mods in a collection but.....it is as it is.

It's really odd how that search works.
Search for "iants": It works. Search for "ants": It works.
Is there a five letter limitation?
Just looked: No that can't be it. Search for "oxygendavid" and his map comes up.
