It looks not right at all, the tractors do seem to look toy like, something FS22 had not at all.
The mod community seems to be nearly dead on fs25, after 3 months now on mod pages you get a few mods and thats it, not to mention the lack of maps.
I pre ordered it for quite a bit off money, but it is not worth the price at all.
My steam winter sale EA Sports WRC was a better buy.
Maybe it just needs some time to mature. I hope.
I have put in a few hours in FS25 and like janusx60, I am a bit disappointed with the mods that are out, yes I know its still only a few months old, but literally within the first month or so of FS22 coming out, we saw some Maps from FS19 ported over to FS22, including the ever popular "No Mans Land" but so far the maps in FS25 seem to be non-existent. I get that it takes time to make maps, but it seems no one is interested in making them yet?
I was expecting some of the "best of" mods from FS22 to make their way over, and so far not many at all, and even the ones that have, seem to be a very "lite" version of the FS22 variant.
FS22 is still a much better game, I hope that after a while FS25 does surpass this, but I am only playing it because I paid for it, I am not really enjoying it as much as I did FS22.
FS19 and 22 are by far better versions of this franchise, I will say wait for this game to mature more, maybe people are waiting for Giants to fix a lot of issues this game seems to be having, maybe seeing what they plan to release over the next year?
But if you are looking for a game here, honestly go with FS22 (or even 19) I say 22 just because I like the way the shop & mod interface are laid out.
I'm not a modder, but my understanding from what I've heard is the equipment must be completely reworked. Lighting, textures, physics, etc.
i watched some FDR logging videos, he had to do a ton of work on his equipment. However, he has them out now.
Plus the holidays....doesn't Giant take the month off?
Mods are coming.
In time this one will be a great game, the bones are there, just needs some meat that is all.
This release it's the worst disaster, it works, most of the time, but have so many little bugs and annoyance that rise question of what's goin on in Giants office.
