Are animals worth it?

Are any animals (not bees and such, but pigs/sheep/goat/cows/horses worth it in terms of area occupation and ingame durarion?

I have 245 goats that make me between 27k-32k a month with goat milk, all they eat is grass. It seems to be one of the easiest incomes I've found in time spent vs payout. I cut grass like once a year and even that's way too often for their food supply. Alternatively, you can spend about 10% of profit from the milk, and just buy hay bales to feed them. It's a real win win no matter what you do imo.
