How to allocate more RAM in FS25.

The more mods i add, the more my game lags and i wonder how to allocate more RAM, my FS25 uses only 4GB RAM of 16GB, and only app im running in backroung is Spotify so i still have plenty of RAM to use. Please help!

U cant really allocate ram urself in a mordern OS - and u wouldnt really want too. On my 64gb system fs25 peaks at 5.3gb of ram usage when loading a 4x map so ur 4gb dosent seem low. And more used ram dosent equal better performance in any way.

If u are seeing fps drop it could be a bad mod.. properly made mods shouldnt really impact performance that much - if u are seeing an impact u are proberly already running too high settings for ur pc.. FS25 is in my experince very CPU bound..

Edit: Mods that expands the games preset boundaries (4x map, 64 animal pastures, expanded productionschains and etc.) would obviously impact performance

Ohh, i thought it would help, previous FS's ive played on consoles so only mods accepted by Giants were avilable so i never had problems, now i instaled some unofficial mods and i started to see lags, before i played Minecraft with a lot of mods, ppl always told to allocate half of ur RAM cause in Minecraft its possible to allocate RAM and it always helped with my performance so i thought it would be same for FS. But thanks for help anyway!

sounds like you need more vram which is your graphics card

hmm, i didnt think of that but could be true. I have 6G VRAM only which is not alot for modern games. Thanks!
