disheartening result from first sale of rice saplings
I see that the peak selling window is in August, so I bring my trailer with 360 rice saplings to the train station after seeing that Goldcrest is offering $10,380. I do some quick math ( 360 x 10,380) and immediately laugh at my calculator while calling bs. Once I get to the station, I open the price chart again and see that the peak has now jumped to March, despite Goldcrest still offering the best price. I rent the train, and once it finally arrives, it just repeatedly goes back and forth in front of the station without actually loading my goods (which were unstrapped). After watching the train dance for a bit, I say screw it, and cancel the train before delivering to the farmers market. In the end, I drive away with $3,634 ( while hoping for at least $30,000) and having missed last years window. Where did I go wrong and where the heck is the game getting these values from!? XD

Rice saplings are practically worthless. Plant them, or don't waste your time.

is it the same with prefab walls then, because the chart says those sell for a pretty penny as well

The pricing in the charts is per 1000 liters. Rice saplings are 24 liters per pallet even though they say 24 pieces (or something like that.)

As Wizard said, unless you are going to be planting the Rice saplings, growing them to sell is not worth the effort.

hmm, damn. So my location is Farmland 1, and what I have currently are a small chicken coop (with 30 egg laying hens), a wheat field (that I use for chicken feed, with the remainder going into the silo), canola field (that I harvest and use in my oil mill for canola oil), a barley field (that I harvest and use in my grain mill), a bakery (waiting on the peak sell period for flour), a small mushroom and small tarp greenhouse, and I've used the majority of field 4 for poplar production. I also have two windmills generating between $9,000 and $13,000/ month while being maxed out on loans ($715,000). Admittedly, I'm stabbing in the dark on how to be profitable
