storage, grass, hay, wood chips etc

Hi,

In a different post I found the only option to handle items like these are uusing a frontloader or straight up sell them at a selling point. Does anyone know a good way to store these items for a long(er) period of time. I'd like to sell in big amounts when the price is right and/or wait for an oppurtunity to actually use and proces them.

Or how do you handle this issue? It can't be the right thing to do to sell in minor amounts whenever you've obtained them or in mid-late playthrough you have to use a fronloader for thousands of litres.

Grass and hay can be baled up and just left in a stack somewhere, especially if the grass is wrapped and fermenting into valuable silage. Wood chips can live a tipper for a few months.

With out mods:
1. turn into bales
2. Store in trailers
3. Some silos might hold them.
4. Dump on ground

With mods:
1. modded silos to store it
2. On kingmods there is a grass storage and fermenting mod. Its a "hoop" style building. I use it and love it.
3. Illgib on kindmods also has a wood chip storage mod. Its pretty cool.

So you have a few different options. Modded and non. Just depends on what you prefer.

I've litterally been looking for a mod (through the ingame) for hours, and tried almost everything. but, unbaled, i didnt find any solution. And I'm coincidentally booting up now with one of his mods installed for the stones.

Illgib stone one? Ya he made it for myself and another guy. Same for his wood chip one. He put both up for approval from giants. Stone done and woodchips should be soon if not already. So dont need go to kingmods if dont wish to.

Ya bad recent experience set me against instant accepting. I am amazed how childish some people can get. Or how demanding for attention grown old adults can be at times. Guy started acting like i was his boyfriend or some crap... Ya he had to go. And I then locked my account.

That is a bit creepy indeed. I already understood the decission but with people acting this way, it makes even more sense

It was lot worse. I didnt post all of it as was on my profile. So i limited what I said. Since im a nice guy and i TRY to respect others. I left out private conversations. But on that i will say.. had many issues.

Also i have kids and youngest told me when went to check hours he played some of his games on my account.. even with family view on and it blocking adult games. They would show up when he looked at time played. So i turned of broadcasting hours played.. turns out it blocks ALL views of hours played. And with in 30 -60 minutes or so of me doing that LATE at night. He jumped on my profile making insults and rude comments...

Another time my kid who guy knows is young got tired of him spamming messages to me. And told him Im not home... I came back to still find OVER 50 messages during that time. Creepy is understatement with guy.

Without mod you can leave this things on the side, even close to the place you want sell it, like parking lots. But I'm not a expert on this game, I just know that nothing happens if you just leave things outside.

if there is a train on the map, check the menu for what stuf you can sell there.
if you can sell your woodchips, hay,... whit the train, you can store those items in the train station silo.

I was about starting to work again on the silo when i remember about bales XD
Yeah for grass, hay and straw, bales are my way to go, with an autoloading trailer it's a no brainer, and there are alrady some bales storage inagem and via mods.
