Proper order for field work?

Is it:
- plow
- take out rocks
- roll
- cultivate
- seed

I just started a new game, and I plan on first doing all this with Oil Seed Radish, and then planting real crops. Thanks!

Depends on what the field needs.
-Plow
-Lime
-Rocks
(rock picker cultivates)
-Cultivate if needed (seeder may do this also)
-Seed
-Roll

if you want 100% you also need to mulch before cultivating. On fields with crop leaving "straw" do Not set harvester too leave swats as the straw spread out is setting mulched status on field saving you that step.

Most, if not all, of the time you will make more money from swathing and selling the straw than you would from the 2.5% bonus you get for the mulch state.

selling straw is really not worth it. Check your finances.
Straw is good if you have animals that need it, like Cows.

It depends on what additional investment you would need to be able to sell straw. You might as well if you already have baling equipment or a forage wagon for other things.
