The "floaty" feeling of Pick Up Object

Does picking up items by hand feel super floaty to anyone else? As of your hands might as well be covered in Vaseline when moving objects? Like loading cut wood into a chipper and dealing with the wood flying out of your hands, as an example.

Sorry to necro this thread since it has been almost 2 weeks. Picking up objects does feel floaty. It makes picking up wood to put in a woodchipper more awkward than it already is. If I turn too fast the game makes you throw it. If I walk forward too quickly the game makes you drop it.

Is there anything I can do to make it not so "floaty"? Make the objects stick to you better when you pick them up? Like install a mod or change a setting in a file somewhere?

Yes, bales really feel floaty. I feel everything should have their gravity increased.

Have you tried the lumberjack mod? If you use it, you won't have objects falling out of your hands. You will be able to pick up entire trees if you want to, but you will also have to be careful that you don't accidentally pick up your wood chipper or other vehicles that might be around.

I have been using lumberjack and everything feels even more floaty than before i dont know what would change this though.
