How to download mods .zip on Mac M1

So I started to looking forward to enjoy this game, but as I see not all mods could be downloaded from the menu.
And I tried to download .zip files, but there is no /mods folder on macbook.

If anyone have an idea how to use .zip mods, will be glad to hear.

Tried to create /mods and put my mods there, but doesnt work

maybe you have to create this folder MANUALLY ? best regards
