Do grass fields need mulching

As the titles says. Do grass fields that are planted need to be mulched. Only getting 87% yield bonus.

I think only for that first planting do you need to mulch and field roll. After that, you just use a grass roller after mowing. No other fieldwork is need to maintain field grass.

No. You need to (grass) ROLL after cutting the grass though.
Non of the multi-harvest crops needs field work besides fertiliser, weeding and occasional lime until after last harvest.
