Thanks, that kinda pointed me in the right direction.
In the FS25 maps folder under mapAS>config I found environment.xml.
It had several references to fog, I deleted each section relating to fog, re-loaded the game and save, NO FOG!
Not sure if it will stay like that if the game gets patched.
Will update if I see any fog lol.
Of course if you check game files integrity or a new patch come out , what you delete will appear again once files will be missed in base game maps in this case mapAS and will be reaquired
Also, tip for when messing with content files, don't delete lines, comment them out instead.
I backed it up before changing it as well.
Thats a shame I wonder if some talented modder could implement a permanent option
Since i'm playing on Riverbend, which from what I read is loosely based on Arkansas, I'm not sure what the fog is like there. I would imagine that by noon in the summer most fog would have dissipated by then.
I make random mods like this. I can look into making such a lua. I'll post back if I am successful. No, I'm not asking you to join a discord, pay for it, or anything like that. I'm just a coder that happens to like playing FS.
