need help with external mods

Downloaded game off steam. I downloaded external mods off mod network and added them to the mods file as a zip file and are not popping up in game. Any help?

As I said on other thread. what is the path you put them in? Where did you get them? Which mods are they? When you load save do you get list of them? Or do they not show up?

mods go in the mods folder where your games saves and configs are \Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2025\, unless you want them somewhere else (which is the best option really) then you edit gamesettings.xml
and change False to True her:
<modsDirectoryOverride active="true" directory="X:\Users\username\Downloads\Games\FS25\mods\Zielonka"/> or what ever paths YOU want.
DO NOT unpack the mods! DO NOT pack them into zip or anything. Copy them too the mods folder. Name of the mods isn't that important. (one of my mods is named"Y_LS25_DPW_1800_TransPort_Aller_Balen_Th01.zipY_LS25_DPW_1800_TransPort_Aller_Balen_Th01.zip" game have no issues with that.

It's kind of up hill, if the first criteria fails.

Ya i do. And thought same.. just wanted to be nice about it lol When some one said got mods and dont work.. Normally leads to them not knowing how. But didnt want to condensed the guy :-) So wanted to check and see what knew befor going to far into explaining.
