Still can't use FSR 3

I have a 4070 Ti Super and still can't switch to FSR 3 without crashing the game. I've tried windowed fullscreen and some presets like high, very high, ultra, etc. and then enabling FSR 3 only to have it crash no matter what settings I choose. Even if I set it outside the game in game.xml file it still crashes the game at launch. If you have FSR 3 working I'm curious to hear what hardware you have and how you got it working.

AMD does FSR. Nvidia does DLSS. If you need an image scaling or whatever option, use the one that matches your graphics card.

FSR is supported on all Nvidia cards from at least GTX 10 series and up. So no issues there.

Ok I got frame gen working finally! Now getting a solid 120+ FPS! Here is how it works for me:

1.) Add code below to game.xml in Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2025 (under section "<scalability>" before the end of it):

<fidelityFxSR30>Quality</fidelityFxSR30>
<fidelityFxSR30FrameInterpolation>true</fidelityFxSR30FrameInterpolation>

Basically this first line enables FSR 3 at 'Quality' level, but you can change it to a different quality level. Second line turns frame gen on.

2.) Make sure FSR 3 doesn't have sharpen more than 1.0 otherwise there will be artifacts all over the place. Also make sure you are in Fullscreen, not Exclusive Fullscreen.

Vsync on/off doesn't matter in my experience. I have everything on Ultra running well.

Where is the steam_settings folder? I can't find a folder in my Steam files that is called settings.

Go to the game's install folder, go to x64 folder and you will see steam_settings folder

Yeah same here. I discovered that using Lossless Scaling is better and uses Nvidia frame gen instead. I know it's like a $6 app though

Am running it on 4080 it does crash when selecting frame generation sometimes but u have to change fsr to another then change back to fsr then enable it.. Sometimes works sometimes doesn't it's a mess

Try reduce sharpening to 0.85

It doesn't run terribly well (compared to with other games), but it does run better and looks a lot better than FSR 3 frame gen
