Still can't use FSR 3
I have a 4070 Ti Super and still can't switch to FSR 3 without crashing the game. I've tried windowed fullscreen and some presets like high, very high, ultra, etc. and then enabling FSR 3 only to have it crash no matter what settings I choose. Even if I set it outside the game in game.xml file it still crashes the game at launch. If you have FSR 3 working I'm curious to hear what hardware you have and how you got it working.

Same, and I have a 7900xtx and fsr3 really doesn’t help in game and frame gen crashes my game when I try to turn it on.

I'm running FSR3 just fine, but I am running it on an AMD card so that's probably why.

AMD does FSR. Nvidia does DLSS. If you need an image scaling or whatever option, use the one that matches your graphics card.

Or maybe if it's broken don't use it? lol

Thing is there is no other option for frame gen other than a crappy alternative like "Lossless Scaling". The devs messed up by using their own silly engine instead of UE5 imo

Oh there's an option, all OFF

I rephrased my post for clarity. Go to Post Process graphic options and set everything to off. Apply settings. After reload try:
- Multisampling AA -> Off (leave off or it crashes for me when frame gen is active)
- Post Process AA -> FSR 3
- Frame Generation -> On. In that order.

Vsync -> Off, Frame Limit -> 240. Should work now. I don't use any of the upscaler techniques. Only Frame Gen.

Ok so I can turn on FSR 3 with those settings, but no matter what I do I can't enable frame gen still, it just crashes

Your lesson for today, read about open source and proprietary code.

For those who are having issues enabling frame Gen, create a text document and name it "disable_overlay" and place it in steam_settings folder.

Just use taa for now and x4 msaa all the nvidia stuff is broken dlaa and dlss etc

I don't understand why you are still expecting a different outcome? just turn the f'n thing off,
cap the frames at 60 an enjoy the 4070ti

What does this do exactly, and will this help with AMD gpus?

AMD and FSR are built in unison, as Nvidia and DLSS. Therefore if you're using Nvidia don't use FSR and use DLSS (hence the crashes) and if you're using AMD use FSR.

I have a 7900xtx which is an AMD gpu and I use fsr3 and when I turn on frame gen the crashes, and when I go back in the game frame gen is still off. This is the same every time I try to turn on frame gen.
