Starting with Forestry

There seems to be good reason to start with forestry, including some of the product lines. But, I'm not really sure where a good place to do that would be.

Does anyone have thoughts on where a good forestry starting farm is on each map?

Farmland 39 on Riverbend full of Lodgepole pines next to the BGA

Hutan Pantai Starting farm area is generally a good place. Near the farm buildings you start at you can buy several plots of land which are forests nearby.

Thats the only place and there really arent that many pines. It's also in a hill. For the amount of wood you need for the build missions there almost no logging trees on the map unless you grow your own.

i was searching for the same and got disappointed. There is no place in no map for good forestry. Maybe they will bring a forest map as dlc the same as in 22 or it just got scammed. Finally there a no more vehicles for forestry as the same from 22. im disappointed from the maps. f*** that rice S*hit.

all you can do is plant trees yourself. but i would liked to have a forrest with different grow states.

Not much forestry going on in any of the FS 25 maps IMO. What little trees there are mostly the wrong kind too. Its a shame because the starter sawmill is an awesome addition to the game like the other starter productions that cost 36000. I can't wait for a mod map with real forests and good trees. Then I will really put that beginner sawmill through its paces!

Any field u can plant 200 + trees on is a good start

Cannot wait for Lumberjack mod as well too and hopefully return of SIlverrun forest, No man's Land... IS so annoying u cannot get rid of the fake decoration chicken coop at the starting farm on the first map.. Why even from scratch i cannot start with clear ground or at least be able to sell all the buildings and rebuild the farm.... :((( Cannot wait for the modders to fix the game :)

OK, well, it's good to know I wasn't missing something obvious. I spent a couple of hours looking for interesting starting locations. There are a few candidates, but nothing that screamed, "YOU MUST START HERE!!!. In fairness, I remember feeling the same about the FS22 maps early on. I generally end up on Modded Maps.

Need to fix growth time of trees or have to wait for a mod. Now you need 54 days that a tree is fully grown.... On ls22 it was 24 or 14 days
