the point of the game

i have all farm sim games came up before. im not against this game or else. im not against to people who are enjoying playing it.. really
i dont understand the point of the game.. it seems we are doing the same thing over and over.. there is no competition.. no other farm company.. all you do is plant seeds and harvest.. not even need to buy a new farm.. why the so big map.. just do your owned the smallest farm and you are still making money.. you dont have any spending.. i dont see any fun in this game after 10-12 hours.. there is nothing..no target..
i agree graphics is really nice. and like i said 10-12 hrs game play is super fun no question there.. but again like all survival games after that.. nothing to do.. RP is also not easy without private mods.. like daggerwin doing.. even at some points he gets bored too..
so whats the point of this game?

I meaqn farm sim has never been about competition, it's always been cooperative. You set your own goals, decide what sort of farming you want to do and build the biggest version you can. Or go into production. Like a lot of sand box games there's no "point" per say

Indonesian map has a temple you can rebuild as well as food production requirements to satisfy to feed the people. Gives a bit of direction.

thats my point.. we need to demand more from DEVs not only for this game.. generally. im sure what you said is true but again i dont think you will continue playing this game after 20 hrs

The unnuanced point of the game is to simulate farming, which is repetitive work. The irl point of the game is whatever you make it. For me, it's something I can do while I listen to podcasts or watch videos, and I get to play with a bunch of expensive farming machinery.

For what it's worth.. competitive farming simulator is a thing. There are tournaments. There are discords for PvP farming.

To me, as a kid that played with Tonka trucks, this is just the adult version of a big sandbox to play around with. It's not the destination/end goal that is enjoyable it's the process that's fun for me.

It's a lot of resources to rebuild. I'd be shocked if you could do it in 5 hours unless you're spamming sleep and min-maxing specifically to rebuild the temple.
