edit: assuming ur on standard map Ben is there.
Plow/Lime - Plow/Lime - cultivate (if you have direct seeding you can skipt this) - fertilize (optional) - seed - use the roller - comb weed -fertilize (first/second time) - fertilize (second time if not fertilized before seeding) - mulch
After seeding you need to wait 1 growth phase to apply fertilizer. You can comp on 1st and 2nd growth phase. In third you need to chemicaly remove the weed, that gives you a yield decrease.
You mulch after the crop has grown a bit? My brain tells that seems backwards. But my exwife always told me I am not the smartest rock in the field.
Thanks for your help!
- First month:
- mulch previous crop always
- plow / lime if needed
- if no slurry, apply other fertilizer +1, wait if have slurry
- cultivate if did not plow, seed if plowed
- if no slurry, apply other fertilizer +2, wait if have slurry
- seed if not yet seeded
- roll
- if did not use other fertilizers and have slurry, apply here as double
- Next month:
- apply weeder, even if are not growing
max yield always and no weeds grow.Reason for not using combination seeder fertilizer is it applies fertilizer after sowing tho will not apply if there is fertilizer state present already. Instead of sow-then-fertilize like it should be, it is calculated as sow-and-fertilize as a single step for some reason, so you cannot stack fertilizer states in one month like this.
Also cannot apply double slurry on top of existing fertilizer state 1 for some reason?
Reason for not using direct drill I cannot remember, maybe was lower yield vs cultivated?
Unsure if this still works FS25...
This is for All crops that spray something out back with normal harvester.
No point in fert before seeding/planting if you have a combo seeder/planter. But if you have slurry, manure you dont need one of those, rather get a direct drill so you dont have to cultivate.
Then the steps would be:
Plow IF needed, do NOT regardless what game say, Plow or Cultivate after first Spinach harvest! You should always get two harvest out it.
Spread your manure/slurry (lime if needed), run the direct drill, roll. wait for second grow state and apply fert, (weed / Hoe if needed). Done.
Also: Dont follow then calendar blindly. Plant/(seed as soon it is possible, and keep an eye on the growth. Many time it can be ready harvest a month or even two before "schedule". (I just harvested Wheat in June).
If your lucky prices will start climbing since no one else have product.
It can also go the other weary where crops takes MONTHS after scheduled "harvest" to be ready.

And waiting for each tractor to finish job before start next one.. takes forever. And doing every step cost a fortune lol
