How do I unload the stones when the stone picker is full?

This is my first time playing the game. I took a quest and rented a stone picker, but now the stone picker is full. I don’t see any button in the top-left corner of the screen to unload the stones. Do I need another tool or have to go to a specific location to unload the stones?

The game got Loads of bug with fields and contracts on the different Maps. What work perfect on one map or one Field do not work on another map or field.

They are not broken. You have to position the very rear of the stone picker right next to a trailer. You can do it from the side, or from the rear of the trailer. You have to be pretty close (the rear of the stone picker, not the side). I didn't test it on a slope, but it definitely works on level ground. Alternately you can take empty the stone picker a the cement factory. Again make sure the very rear of the stone picker is positioned inside the unloading square. On Riverbend the cement factory is just southwest of field 2 (one of fields that comes with the starter farm).

U sure u got the right type of trailer that can accommodate stone's? an not a trailer for chaff/silage?

It works. You just have to be touching the trailer with the back of the rock picker for the option to show up. I just did it on a contract.

I played FS 22 with rocks turned off. Yesterday I was playing FS25 and took rock removal contract. I had some trouble to figure out how to unload rocks from rock picker. Then I thought " OK , they give you a trailer for some reason" I dumped rocks in MY OWN TRAILER , went and sold it just for fun and GOT ACHIEVEMENT for doing it.
Took me 5 min to figure it out. But I could abandon my game , go on Steam forum and start complaining about "broken game".

I was having the same problem as op. I bet I backed up and away from a trailer 100 times and could not get the prompt to unload. I finally tried something that worked. I parked the trailer slightly down hill and backed the stone picker up to the trailer from the UPHILL side. And instead of touching the trailer i slowly pulled away and got the unload prompt. Hope this helps.

to empty the stone collector, you have to line up with the trailer, as if it were a ‘train’.
I left the trailer without the tractor, and approached with the rear of the machine.
if the field is not very big, it is not necessary to empty the stones from the trailer, if the machines are borrowed.

Just did this had same issue. As others have said you back up to a trailer until (for me anyway) the Honk menu item appears when I press the key for honk i get the sub menu to unload the stone.

I use a small trailer and drive it behind the picker close as can get.If picker has a AI running when im in right spot it will auto unload. Also you can unload trailers and such at sell points. Though if its part of contract to sell at specific place use that of course.

I think, if you have trouble unloading stone, it worked better for me to unload into the trailer provided on the contracted field. Not just on the road nearby, actually on the field. This might be what some people are having issues with? Not sure.

Back the picker up to the back of the trailer. It doesn’t say “unload,” it says “start overloading” or something like that.
