Saitek side panel issues

The game doesn't seem to recognise all of the controls i set up for my side panel, anyone else having this issue? For example, I set attach and detach tool both to button 19, and it will only detach the tool with that button, but won't attach it.

I set my Vehicle -> Attach Tool to button 23 and it works to attach and detach. Make sure you have the correct tool highlighted. If you are on your tractor, it won't detach a trailer. You have to select the trailer. One thing I have noticed is that the game sometimes forgets the bindings. If I use the keyboard and then go back to the side panel it seems to work. Kinda quirky!

im finding this issue as well, some controls dont work at all on/off, pipe out, attach. but will work when pressing different keybindings

I have a similar issue with my X56 Throttle. Reason I use it is for the extra switches. I can bind a switch to lower/raise tools, but binding to turning on a tool doesn't work. Even though the inputBinging.xml appears to be correct. Pressing B works just fine, it just doesn't like the alternate binding.

Had this too. Now what you have to do is unbind the control and then unbind it again then rebind the button you want. For some reason when you bind a button, it doesn’t replace it. You have to unbind the previous one then bind the new one you want. Hope this helps

Same issue with the Thrustmaster farm stick sometimes stuff works, sometimes it doesn't And restarting the game usually helps. All my gear works fine in other games, something is up with their control schemes.

4 months later, version 1.5, already pumping out DLCs, and no attention given to their broken key mapping.
