Console Commands

[CRIPPLING DEPRESSION]

Hey everyone, I've been trying to get my console working and haven't been able to i have followed every tutorial and done all the correct steps however no keys on my keyboard are letting me access the console is there something I'm missing???

Yes. You did -not- do the correct steps :)
Most likely you have edited the wrong game.xml file.

It goes in superspeed and add a bunch of console cheats commands unavailable otherwise.

It enables the use of cheats, and does not automaticly enable super speed or any other kind of cheats.

No i think it always been, never used in 19 but i tried one time in 22 and quickly disabled it, the superspeed was sickening.

the "-cheat" is not needed. You get plenty of commands without it, like speed, strength etc.
If you need money edit the farms.xml.

Open console is ~. And it should be the key under ESC and to left of 1, even on non English language. It might also be Ö on german

Check if you have OneDrive installed as it will move under OneDrive then documents as it backups all of your doc files

You need to login as Admin for it to work, if I remember correct that is.

Yeah ive tried all those options. I get a hand to pop up and when i try to pick an object up the hand disappears when left clicking but nothing happens.

You had any luck? I'm in the same boat as you. Yes, -cheats is added to launch options. Yes, I edited the correct xml.



Edit: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i got it working. Do this.


Right Click on the game in Steam: Manage Properties>Browse Local File. Right Click on the FS25.exe file (its a green icon) and send it to your Desktop as shortcut. Right click on the one you added to your desktop and click properties. find the field called "Target" and at the end of the text that is there, hit space 1 time and type the -cheats command
