rice fields broken in Hutan Pantai

i bought the plots 30 and 31, which had rice on them when i bought. i figured they're rice fields as they also have the flooding pump and greenhouse. yet now that i want to replant, i can't get my helpers to plant, because planting is only allowed on rice fields and the helper cant find one. when manually planting, it also constantly flashes the warning that it's not allowed, but does it anyways

this happened to me too :(

I don't think that's a bug. The rice saplings come in smaller boxes, of which you can only have a certain amount because the previous boxes may cover a slot.

in my opinion, if that were the case, there wouldn't be so much left over. when you go to refill it says 0% and/or 0 litres. let's say that if there was anything left over, it would be filled to at least 90% or thereabouts, not 60%. there's a lot of pallet left over. i'm not going to say if it's a bug or not, but it's very rare.

en mi opinion, si eso fuera asi, no quedaria tanto sin rellenar. cuando vas a rellenar pone 0% y/o 0 litros. vamos a poner que si quedara algo, al menos se rellenaria al 90% o por ahi, no al 60%. sobra mucho palet. no voy a decir si es un bug o no, pero es muy raro

Works fine for me and a friend at the moment, multiplayer. Placed my own rice field, flooded it. Waited for it to flood completely then planted the rice. It's been fine ever since, currently replanting the rice. Which you need to cultivate the plot before you reflood and plant the rice (not the long grain rice).

As schrolock says in their post. It can get spammed the error message, but as long as it plants. It's fine, it should disappear over time.

Problem could possibly be is that you didn't wait for it flood, or you touched a part of the land which isn't the rice field and that message will appear as well but will go away. oh, you can easily plant when doing it yourself. the error will be annoying, but bearable. my issue is, that the rice planter has worse handling than the motorcycle, so i would love to offload that to the helper, which doesn't work though

I have a similar issue. I have 2 rice fields next to each other between them there is a gap. When i start flooding the left one some magic happens and the right one start flooding. Two rice fields, two "controll panel" but somehow one controlls both.

Yeah rice planting is still broken in multiplayer in v 1.3. Had the same issue with it as the thread author. I will test if this goes away after you had your first crop and recultivated the field again. The game doesn't even let you use steering assist on the rice field at the moment. You can't lock a GPS line, it disables the lock immediately. I hope Course Play will get available soon. It is still much better and more advanced than what Giants implemented.

that sucke. i was hoping to plant rice fields soon, but i'll definitely hold back for now
