rice fields broken in Hutan Pantai

i bought the plots 30 and 31, which had rice on them when i bought. i figured they're rice fields as they also have the flooding pump and greenhouse. yet now that i want to replant, i can't get my helpers to plant, because planting is only allowed on rice fields and the helper cant find one. when manually planting, it also constantly flashes the warning that it's not allowed, but does it anyways

Are you trying to plant rice or long grain rice. Rice needs the field flooded prior to planting and long grain doesn’t

Same problem here. The field is flooded, I can plant the rice but the worker don't. In fact, even planting the rice, I keep getting the message "this crop can only be planted inside rice fields" which is what I am doing.

Weird. Though I haven’t yet done rice paddy planting in this game I watched a stream from daggerwin doing it with no issue at all. Check this episode if you want to see if he’s doing something different

right when he started seeding, he got the same error message as me, only that his went away and mine doesn't

yeah, but for me as well, when playing on our dedicated server, it just doesn't work. it plants them, just flashing an error message the entire time and not letting us use helpers

I've found that a worker not being able to find a rice paddy is a multiplayer issue. As soon a second player shows up it stops working. Already made a bug report and am waiting on a response.

Works fine for me and a friend at the moment, multiplayer. Placed my own rice field, flooded it. Waited for it to flood completely then planted the rice. It's been fine ever since, currently replanting the rice. Which you need to cultivate the plot before you reflood and plant the rice (not the long grain rice).

As schrolock says in their post. It can get spammed the error message, but as long as it plants. It's fine, it should disappear over time.

Problem could possibly be is that you didn't wait for it flood, or you touched a part of the land which isn't the rice field and that message will appear as well but will go away. Then again, game is new. Whole lot of bugs, I'm getting a bug where I cannot fill the rice planter machine to 100%, stops at 60% or sometimes it does get to 100 but that's rare
