Let’s be honest, influencers have been well paid to do their jobs. But does the game do its job?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4a8mkx2d-Q
When I see that, I feel terribly sorry for you.

Consume, buy, and be prepared to pay full price for vehicles lacking that you'll find in DLC.
I feel like Farming Simulator has lost its soul.

But what about you?
How do you feel?

There will be patches, of course, and mods will still help the game for a while.
But I don’t feel the developer’s love for simulation and its client (you and me) in all this. Just the love of money... Sad
Love, and I hope you will have a good Christmas.

Because someone on Youtube said so.
No, this is my feeling, maybe I'm wrong...
But since FS19, which revolutionized the FS series with Ground Deformation and the freedom to place your farm as you like, I get the impression that it's just the same thing, but simply more beautiful with the most popular mods of the earlier version integrate in the game.
Not revolutionary in itself, just easy
they doesn't try anything really new or different. Like, for example, fruit trees, fishing and/or hunting, pnj's with bonuses to unlock if you help them (ex: bonus colors for your vehicles).
And why not add an RPG dimension, where the higher you level up, the more efficient your harvests, and the less your vehicles consume and deteriorate?

No, they just add the best mods without bothering, better graphics and a pretty red bow and sold.

To try to open people's eyes about Giant, which no longer has the passion for FS and more for money.
I'm also doing this so that others who come to the forum before buying the game know who they're dealing with.

In the absolute I would have liked a boycott of the license, but that won't happen, people prefer to buy without worrying.
“the reviews are very positive... I like what I see, so I'm buying”.

Its your perception of it.Get on discord and listen to them its might change.

Ive been following, playing this game and all the other for over 1.5k to 2k each title.Ive been around every forum for almost 2 decade.Telling me that i don't know them is kinda....you got every answer and you know everyone.....and everybody else is wrong but not you.

The game slaps hard, most chill fun I have had in a long time gaming, I look forward to coming home and creating new fields and decorating my farm to relax after work. IDGAF about how many tractors there are or what brands are in the game, There is vehicles to do everything that needs doing in the base game, it is a mechanically complete experience from day 1.

Giants have also released a LOT of free DLC already, maybe it's old machines ported over, maybe some is new, either way they are adding stuff weekly completely free, what's there to cry about? It didn't meet YOUR expectations? lol...

Either play the game or don't, my opinion was formed by my time with the game, about 45 hours so far, not some stupid YouTube video trying to explain what "sucks" or "doesn't suck" about the game. If I just blindly listened to random people cry about stuff they DON'T like I would never try anything myself.

Be an individual, make up your own mind, and let other people do the same. Steam has a refund policy with "NOT FUN" and "NOT WHAT I EXPECTED" as refund options for a reason.

If you don't like the game, or feel the devs have slighted you somehow then do yourself a favor and move on, it's clearly not doing you any good "stressing" over it.

Dude... you're literally trying to be an "influencer" yourself, by trying to influene others to NOT buy a game they may enjoy simply because YOU have feelings about it...

Persuasion 1/100

As I said:
Giant takes the mods and integrate them into the game, they waits and recovers the work of others.
Giant has not updated its Steam page with FS25.
There is no longer a technical service or bug report on Steam.
Since FS19 the game has not really evolved except on graphics and additions recovered from modders.
The Giant engine still has the same bugs at the release of the new version and no anticipation.
And a high price under the pretext of the current inflation of the money.
Easy money.
But you are right after all, buy and give their reason.
They have no direct reason, so why would they not.
Have Good day, and you have a calculated, overwhelming mentality.
Very effective.

well, the last phrase of the video speaks it all out:

"we will all end up buying this game
and we will all end up playing this game
and Giants will do exactly the same thing next time with farm sim 27".

Yup, very problably.
You're not a mind reader but you have good.
Edit: @Bpat, you mark the point.

I'm not paid to influence and I'm just trying to show Giant's laziness, who could pull his finger out of the... And make us a great game every 3 or 4 years, well followed with big events and good DLC, rather than generic FS.

I did buy the game, partly because of that youtube. When i found out i was actually getting, especially the way the game lags constantly even off line and how "the community" says just wait, keep playing and it goes away... i know a trap when i see one. I refunded. And now giants is on my radar.

I am curious--what, precisely, do you think "well paid" would be?
it's common to know that they usually receive a free version of the game (sometimes in advance of the release), with goodies (t-shirt coffee cup). To promote the game in a positive way, and this must be the same for many big licenses, it's a big publicity stunt.
That's what I mean when I say “well paid”.
And if it's real money, I really don't know.
Other people than me who do know will tell you better than I can.

OK, so Lunatic's integrity can be bought for ~$50USD, a coffee mug, and a t-shirt. I don't know, but that feels low to me. Like, abysmal.

Does anyone else have thoughts on how much influencers' integrity is worth? I'd have thought the going rate would start in the low-to-mid-four figures, even for the hungry ones. It wouldn't be the first time I was wrong, though.

If it's really that low, I should get back into game development!

Since you are not lazy like Giants, I am looking forward to seeing your version of a farming simulator game in about 3 years.

I'll be willing to pay 20 USD for your graphically superior version without any bugs at release, thousands of pieces of equipment running at 120 fps on a Pentium 4 with Geforce 2 graphics card.

"Two-thirds of influencers do not check whether what they say is correct, UNESCO study shows
Study: more than 60% of influencers do not check their sources according to UNESCO

The influencer is a person who, through his or her media exposure, can act on consumer behaviors. Most of the time, he creates content (videos, articles) that allow him to communicate with his communities, expand his number of subscribers and therefore his potential influence.

According to the Statista report, influencer marketing generated $16.4 billion in 2022. In response to this figure, brands are eager to collaborate with influential people and move away from traditional advertising. In this context, the position of influencer has become a real job where the person receives a fairly comfortable salary."

Great classic, turning a person's words against themselves.
But it doesn’t affect me, it’s elementary school level.
