Best way to harvest Sugarcane?

It seems sugarcane harvesting is a little... wonky. Only one of the two sugarcane trailers actually connect to the harvest (with a hitch added). And when running an AI harvesting with the trailer, it keeps smacking into it's own trailer on corners. There is also one forage wagon that can pick up the piped sugarcane without a trailer that leaves it on the ground - I've found that to be the best method. Except that the AI won't just run and drop the sugarcane on the ground, it won't move till you are driving a trailer under the pipe --- but then it stops on corners because the AI driver either crashes into you or ends up turning away from you and it can't pipe out or move until you move under to catch it.

Has anyone found a better method for using AI in this scenario, because right now it's kinda gotta be done manually, piping onto the ground and picking it up afterward with the forage wagon.

The AI drives, you drive beside it. End of possibilities. The AI is not capable to take the wagon into account in this scenarion.

Best way to solve that....either wait for follow me mod or configure a graintank onto the harvester.

Can I ask which trailer you use for picking sugarcane off the ground? I only found one forage trailer that lists sugarcane as an option, the Fendt one, but it can't actually pick it up off the ground. Much to my announce, given its cost.
