my workaround:
get "government subsidy" from ingame-modhub. BEFORE placing choose monthly income.
also waiting desperately for some good mods. ^^ best regards
Check what sell for most money, WHEN they sell, and always keep an eye on the prices. They are not fixed! (Mods is very useful for this like: "Time Saving Stock Check" (FS25_TSStockCheck)
The BS with not getting too 100% on some contracts needs to be fixed! If you do job harvesting and it starts raining, you will newer get 100%.
Sometimes sh*t get stuck under ground, making you NOT finish a job, (logs hello!!!)
Sometimes far too often the contacts just bugs out and stops "counting", and you newer can finish it.
I honestly thing whom ever wrote the scripts for this game was drunk or on drugs. NON of these contracts issues happened in FS19.
Remember you can edit the "missions.xml" to fix the broken jobs)
Operating on the assumption that the 99% s are a bug and not from you harvesting in the rain. They will get fixed.
But the rest of your gripe would need a fix to your attitude and not a fix to the game. You seem to be under the impression that you are supposed to be contracting your way to the end game machines. While this is possible, it's is going to take a long LONG time.
Instead start small and build up. Buy more fields and gain profits to afford better (not best) equipment that you use to then afford more fields that make even more profit. It's a snowball concept.
