Trees
Winter came and I ran out of contracts except thinning out the trees in certain areas. Yes, I go sell the wood before collecting on the job. I had a chain saw and a trailer made for collecting rocks, the red one.

So I cut the trees up in length's that would fit inside. I could get 3 trees cut up and fits inside the trailer. I'd go to which sell was the closest. I would get between $450 and $550 with a load of 3 trees.

Then I had a tree cutting job just down the road where I was selling the trailer loads. I thought you got more money selling complete trees stripped of the branches. I would cut down a tree and strip it. Drag it over to the sell point and sell.

I was only getting $50 to $55 a tree. What's wrong with the math here? 3 trees cut up for say $500 and 3 uncut trees bring $150. Now I'm not cutting theses in exact lengths, I'm just guessing and cutting.

I was going to buy the trailer for the full trees, but looks like I need the trailer for cut size logs?

thoughts
thanks

I found it's better to just collect after cutting them all down as it'll give you another job. Over and over, I can make more with less trouble, ha.

best to take them to the small build-able mill costs 36 k, then after processing you will get 20 k every few months from the lumber.

Sounds good, that's where I'm at at the moment. A bunch of small things like chickens, bees, 7 water buffalo's a bunch of green houses. Along with hammering Contracts as I have most my own equipment

I'll have to save up, I think I have $2500.

thanks

processing the wood is best, as mentioned above! I downloaded the factory leasing mod and take all the wood there for planks etc. 11 deadwood were about 15-20k litres of wood if i remember correctly

I got the Small Sawmill and a trailer for long wood and I'm making Wood Beams. I forgot about this big bail of Cotton I had left on the side of the road when a job went sour. I took the Cotton Bail to the Rope Factory expecting 3 or 4 thousand if I was lucky.

I had cut trees until I had $30K, I'm loaned out and I've found most of the $10K rewards. The Cotton Bail gave me like $45K!!!!!!!. I had an old Semi Truck I had bought on sale for $20K.

So I bought the Sawmill and the long log trailer. Got my 1st load loaded.
