Tree Saplings not growing

I know this is an known issue but is there a work around for this ?

It takes up to two years to grow saplings one step up and up to for years to be fully grown.

Which makes IMO forestry Kind of unattractive 🫣

So far 3 years passed in game and no sign of growth

All trees grow differently, but 2 years should make them full grown. The Oak grows every 5 months, up to 20 months, and is full grown at 24 months. Not sure if the disappearing saplings has been fixed, but I did plant a tree and it made it to the first growth and was still there after a save.

After the update, my main save would not let my sheep grow, but other saves were fine. Maybe you have a corrupt file like I had.
