Controller Play near impossible after update

Driving with a controller after this stealth update is like driving through molasses. The wheels take an eternity to turn and just about as long to return back to neutral (the menu option for this has minimal effect). Trying to drive at a reasonable speed with a bigger tractor makes you feel like you are drunk and not in control. Even driving something with all-wheel steering is just as frustrating.

I think I spent more than an hour trying to diagnose this new problem, thinking my controller's performance had started to degrade. Then I went menu hunting, messing with options (I have to exit out of a map to see controller axis dead zone parameters, for some reason?) After about a day of ABSOLUTE FRUSTRATION I began to search on the internet about this problem thinking this was just a bug. Nothing.

Then I decided to try my keyboard to see how bad my controller was messed up. It was then I realized it was a software issue. Turning with a keyboard at any speed gives you the "correct" performance of turn rate. I couldn't believe it. I started searching again with more specific terms and found a discussion on another website where people were having the same problem.

Why was this update not more transparent? I could have saved myself tons of time and HOURS OF FRUSTRATION had I known about this update.

In what universe does this change make any sense? Who asked for this? Did anyone test this change before pushing it out?

If this change is not reversed or something done about it, then I simply can not play this game any longer. I will not use a keyboard if I can help it as it doesn't feel natural at all to me. I've already typed my negative review of FS25 but I wanted to give Giants a chance to fix this terrible update to steering first.

TLDR: REVERT THE CONTROLLER STEERING CHANGE OR MAKE IT AN OPTION. YOU HAVE MADE PLAYING WITH A CONTROLLER IMPOSSIBLE NOW.

Hey, maybe you can help me. I cannot access the game beyond the main menu anymore by using the controler. The controller works fine, tried it with a different game, I can start the game on my PC using the controller/Xbox menu, I can also forward the cutscenees at the beginning but once in the main menu the game does not accept any input via the controller anymore.

Really hate this new steer back speed on controller, hopefully it gets reverted soon and I'm glad it wasn't just me that noticed it.

I think the steering change they made was mainly intended for keyboard steering to simulate the amount of time it takes to turn the wheel but it caused the steering back speed to effect the controller too which it is not supposed to do. The steering back speed only changes the way the keyboard works. Last night I deleted the keybindings a and d for steering on my keyboard in the game and set my steering sensitivity back to 200% like I had it before the patch and it works right again.

I did not like the change either, but this worked for me. Now I can adjust the settings back to how i liked it before.
