manure heap

i placed a manure heap near the cow pasture (usa map), the manure heap building shows "connected to" i dont know what else im supposed to do

What category did you buy the manure heap? Silos or silos extension?

If from silos extension. That means it has to be connected to cow pasture, it should be placed near your cow pasture

i chose silos version, so if im not mistaken i have to get the extension one?

So, still (as in previous versions) the manure silo does not collect manure, but in order for it to work, you need to build an extension instead?

Since the update, my manure heap has stopped working. At first it said "connected to" and everything seemed fine, but after loading a saved game it's no longer connected and does not collect any manure. oh and mine was the silo version, haven't tried extension.
