Wait! Plowing is the one that generates small rocks.
https://www.farming-simulator.com/newsArticle.php?lang=en&country=cz&news_id=318
Isn't plowing a field cultivating it as well?
I think it is. I can seed after plowing. So that means the field that I plowed is cultivated.
That's understable my friend. Hey, I just checked the link you gave me.
It says that subsoilers come with diff speed from 12-15kph.
But in FS25 shop, there's no 15kph subsoiler. I think the dev forgot to put in a faster subsoiler.
I hope they fix this.
Thanks for the link anyway
And can be used in cultivation contracts, but not plowing ones.
Sincerely i completely ditched plows in favor of subsoilers, and with the Create fields mods you're pretty much set.
Unfortunately, we don't have subsoiler higher than 5 meters in the shop. :(
But there's a plower with 6meters.
By the way, just try both of the same width and see for yourself.
Thank you, but it doesn't have to do with the power.
The question is why is subsoiler faster than plowers as to what Ben said?
But in the tutorial on their website.
It says that subsoilers come with the speed of 12-15kph. Faster than plowers. But in the shop, there's no subsoiler with the speed of 15kph.
What Ben is saying is the subsoiler is faster than a plow - at digging up the dirt. Which it is.
It is said because subsoilers can have bigger width han plows (while requiring bigger horse power on tractors) and you don't need to understand and care how plowing and headlands work.
However plow is arguably far superior for those next reasons, but there may be a learning curve on how to use plows:
1) Only plows make the field imune to weed. It will simply never grow during crop growing even if you cultivate or do what ever after plowing, so you will never ever use herbicide or weeder, but this lasts for the one harvest. If you use anything else for cultivation before seeding, you have to use herbicide right after seeding in order to not make it grow at all, otherwise it is reducing overall yield. (Because the weed actualy replaces the crop model, so even if small weed grows up at the first stage and you take it off by weeder or spray it with herbicide that spot will be forever replaced and crop deleted by the weed)
2) All Seeders and planters can seed directly on plowed field.
3) Just turn off rocks - the in game implementation is not even realistic because plows and cultivators just spawn the rocks constantly, no matter if you picked them up previously... it's just annoyance that the only effect of it is that it wears down your tools much faster.
And plow after EVERY harvest, because even if the field doesnt require plowing you do use it to get rid of the weeds for good.
