There's literally nothing else out there to fill the gap, competition-wise. Unfortunately.
1 day or 28 days, it doesn't feel different. It still feels realistic.
But greenhouses making pallets out of it per month doesn't feel right thus feel like cheating.
Hopefully someone will make one.
Just based on the time required to get most things grown/done in real life. Players would whine and stamp their feet and complain about having to set the time passage to max to get anything done.
Just do a simple poll and see how many players actually use 28+ day months.
Luckily you can adjust the game settings (and even mod if you want to) and make the game as hard as you want.
